Media Planning Associate
We’re looking for an ambitious candidate to work in DSPolitical’s Media Planning team for the 2026 Election Cycle!
As a Media Planning Associate, you will support the creation and execution of digital paid media plans across programmatic platforms and social channels. This role is focused on developing core media planning skills and contributing to campaign delivery.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver digital media plans aligned with client goals, strategies, and budgets.
- Create strategic audience profiles using polling, research, and historical data.
- Make preliminary recommendations on budget allocations across platforms and formats.
- Conduct campaign performance meta-analysis to improve assumptions and refine planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stay informed of industry trends.
- Assist with administrative reporting, documentation, and timelines.
- Submit expense reports and timesheets on time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in politics, public affairs, or a related environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.

Office Hours
This position is based in Washington, DC however, we are open to remote work in other states. We will be working on a hybrid basis with many team members working entirely from home. Work hours are consistently 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday, with the expectation that evening and weekend work will be required as necessary.
